Hi. I just reached north of twelve million pages Kindle pages read, exclusive of eBooks and paperbacks. Some stories had their moments and perched on the top five of the epic fantasy subgenre on Amazon. Others made good showings, finding their own readers.
Not bad after three and a half years from the first book by an independent author still exploring the bounds of what he could write and more importantly, how he should write. A toddler learning to walk, that how I would describe it. I don’t “write for the market” as the saying goes. My stories are what entertain me and I am extremely glad to find that readers appreciated them.
I am humbled by it all and to be honest, overwhelmed by expectations. The adage that an author is as good as his or her next book is a terrifying truth. Still, I wouldn’t be writing this post if not for readers willing to give this writer a chance and some of their time.
By way of thanks, my first published work, The Accidental Archmage: Ragnarök Rising, the first of the series, will be available as a free download from April 26, 2021, to April 28, 2021 (PDT).
Thanks for reading and stay safe always,
The Writer
